Benfield drives its dealership count to 30

The North East England’s independent motor group, Benfield Motor Group has opened a new-look Volkswagen showroom in Newcastle. The investment for the showroom is worth around £1 million. With this opening, Benfield Motor Group now has a total of 30 dealerships across the North East of England, Yorkshire, Cumbria and South West Scotland. The brand represents around 12 different franchises.

Showroom will include improved customer services facilities, new car configurator through Ipad and Apple TV, new waiting area and a much more up-to-date and modern customer environment. With this opening, Benfield Motor Group now has a total of 30 dealerships across the North East of England, Yorkshire, Cumbria and South West Scotland. The brand represents around 12 different franchise businesses. Mark Squires, Chief Executive, Benfield Motor Group said, “We have seen a significant growth in Volkswagen car sales and popularity of the brand in recent years. We are delighted that the new showroom and its advanced customer service facilities will allow us to keep pace with the growth of this prestigious brand and products. It will help us provide the highest level of customer service.”

An independently owned family business, Benfield Motor Group was founded in 1957 in Newcastle upon Tyne, a city situated in North East England. Through the time the group's network has branched out and it has become one of the largest and well known private companies in the motor retailing market with a chain of franchise dealerships offering sales, service, parts and bodyshop facilities for new and used cars and commercial vehicles. It has various franchise brands including Audi, Dacia, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Lexus, Nissan, Renault, ŠKODA, Toyota and Volkswagen.
