Intelligent Point of Sale Limited to franchise its business model internationally
UK-based fast growing app developer Intelligent Point of Sale Limited is all set to expand its footprints and franchise its business model globally. Intelligent Point of Sale Limited is currently developing plans to franchise its customer support business model in countries around the world. Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) hardware resellers would be able to join the Intelligent Point of Sale Limited franchise, offering their clients its I-pos app and customer support. Hardware resellers are the companies that supply tills, point of sale terminals and iPad docking stations.
The decision came after the brand secured a £550,000 investment. 24Haymarket, a group of investors who supply private capital to pioneering entrepreneurs has invested £500,000 along with £50,000 of debt funding provided by the East of Scotland Investment Fund.
Paul Walton, Director and Co-founder, Intelligent Point of Sale Limited said, “We’re delighted to have secured investment from 24Haymarket and the East of Scotland Investment Fund to kick start the next phase in our company’s short but successful history. In 2014 our user base increased by over 200% and we are now on target for 750 unique retail and hospitality users.”
Robin Knox, Director and Co-founder, Intelligent Point of Sale Limited said, “Since becoming the UK’s first firm to supply iPad based till software, we are aware that there is a significant competition in the growing EPOS sector. We have always chosen usability over design and feel that this is testament to our success so far.”
Established in the year 2012, Edinburgh-based Intelligent Point of Sale Limited supplies computerised cash register software and hardware to small and large businesses throughout the UK and the world.
