Kaspa's opens a new outlet in Newcastle
Kaspa's, a London-based chain of dessert houses recently opened a new branch in Newcastle. The business plan of the brand is to open another outlet in Bristol next month. The company unveiled its plan to open over eight outlets by the end of summer. The brand is further eyeing on widening its reach by opening new dessert houses in Northampton, Nottingham and Swansea in the near future.
Azhar Rehman, one of the Founders of Kaspa’s says, “We found the demographics of Newcastle appropriate to open a new outlet in this region. Our customers include people of all age groups. We have a target to touch a mark close to 30 outlets by the end of this year. Our endeavour is to open 25-30 stores across the country every year.”
Kaspa’s was founded in 2010. The brand is known for its American-style gelato and desserts. It has crepes, deluxe ice creams, milkshakes, sundaes and waffles- all available under one roof. It began its operations from London. Idea of opening a dessert outlet in London came into Rehman's mind when he was holidaying in US. Specific crème and waffle houses there caught his attention, propelling him to start the same venture back home.
