Lindex launches its first store in London

Lindex, one of the leading fashion chains of Europe opened its new store in London. The store opening marks a significant step in strengthening the brand internationally and is a key step for expanding it globally. The brand is present in the Nordic countries, the Baltic States, Russia, Central Europe and the Middle East. It has franchising operations in the Middle East.

The store will showcase new spring collection coupled with plenty of in-store activities for the customers. “We are glad to open our first store in the fashion capital of London. We were eyeing to cast a presence here for a long time. The store features a new concept and looks absolutely stunning. We aim to deliver a world-class fashion experience to the customers and are looking forward to meeting new investors,” said Ingvar Larsson, Chief Executive Officer, Lindex.

Lindex is headquartered at Gothenburg, Sweden. The brand also announced the launch of its private cosmetic label, Lindex Beauty. Lindex Beauty will be launched in Lindex stores as well as retailed online. Recently the brand released its Sustainability Report 2014, where in it was stated that by 2020 the goal is that at least 80% of Lindex garments are made of more sustainable fibres and all cotton should come from sustainable sources. Lindex has a total of 480+ stores across the globe.
