One Stop opens its first store in Scotland

UK-based retail convenience business One Stop has shored up its presence across the UK. The brand has opened its first ever store in Scotland. The store will be company owned. However, the brand has plans to expand across the Scotland region by opening both company owned and franchise stores in future. It is on the lookout for independent retailers in the region to run One Stop franchise. The brand is also all set to open its second company store soon in Glenrothes, a town situated in the Scotland region.
Tony Reed, CEO, One Stop said, “Our teams are really excited to bring One Stop’s friendly customer service, product range and great prices to customers in Scotland. This is a momentous day for One Stop and will allow us to continue our expansion through both company-owned and franchise stores. It is great to offer Scottish consumers something different. And this also applies to independent retailers, who now have an additional option to consider for their future via our growing franchise scheme.”
The first ever One Stop store in Scotland will feature PayPoint, Lottery, cashback, external ATM services, a photo booth and One Stop’s great meal deals. One Stop is a retail convenience store chain. It has been a subsidiary of Tesco since 2003. It has stores situated throughout England and Wales with over 750 shops.
