Shahnaz Husain seeks expansion in London market
A renowned name in the domain of natural beauty and anti-aging treatments, Shahnaz Husain Group of Companies is keen to strengthen the brand’s presence in London and Europe. It is seeking expansion in terms of franchising and distribution of products and services. All its salons in the UK are franchisee-run. Itsproducts are also retailed at Lloyds Pharmacy at Selfridges. It is the only Indian cosmetic brand to be present in Selfridges.
Explaining about the growth journey of brand in the UK, Shahnaz Husain, Chairperson and Managing Director, The Shahnaz Husain Group of Companiessays, “Our international presence gained momentum when we extended our base in the UK by opening the Shahnaz Ayurveda Aesthetic Clinic in London operating on the franchise system along with seven other franchise salons in the UK. There is a huge demand for organic ayurvedic beauty care. We have established a niche market for our products through our customers. In order to further enhance the enterprise in the UK and Europe, we have set up a Liaison Office in London and have also appointed distributors.”
The brand started its journey in 1970 in India. Shahnaz Husain has trained people like Helena Rubinstein, Arnould Taylor, Swarzkopf, Christine Valmy, Lancome and Lean of Copenhagenfor in cosmetic therapy and cosmetic chemistry, at leading institutions of the West for around 10 years. Presently, the group isknown for its chain of herbal salons and therapeutic products for specific skin and hair problems. Its Chemoline range helps to alleviate the effects of chemotherapy on the skin and hair.
